BALTIMORE, MD (SEPTEMBER 29, 2010) As part of its commitment to increase its presence in the Mid-Atlantic, Sierra U.S. (“Sierra”) today announces that Deborah Haney, Tammy Lee, Margaret Meginniss and Andrew Finkelstein have joined the firm.
“We are extremely fortunate to have secured such talented brokers,” said Marc Offit, Sierra’s Chairman and CEO. “Deborah, Margaret, Tammy, and Andrew are dynamic brokers who provide accurate, detailed counsel for their clients. Their approach to client-service is 100% in-line with Sierra’s mission.”
Haney, a three-time CoStar Power Broker (2006-2008) and Meginniss, who formerly founded Starfire Retail, join as Principals of the firm, and have 32 years of combined experience. Meginniss’ client roster includes leasing for the Grand Central Terminal and Harbor East projects and tenant-clients Sullivan’s Steakhouse and Rosa Mexicano. Among others, Haney represents Starbucks in Maryland and Southern Delaware. Both women are active in the brokerage and at-large communities with Haney serving in the Bel Air Economic & Development Commission and having founded the Baltimore Retail Business Network. Meginniss and Haney are also both members of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
“The Sierra platform, coupled with its boutique-like corporate environment, will allow me to best advise my clients,” said Meginniss. “I found this team’s analytical processes and core belief in the client’s best interest most compelling,” Haney agreed.
Lee, an active member of the Baltimore area’s Korean community, joins Sierra as a Senior Associate. Since 2003, she has been bridging the gap between the robust and growing Korean business community and local landlords, specializing in retail investment sales and leasing.
“Tammy’s cultural understanding of the Korean business community is a rare asset for Sierra and benefits the entire community,” Offit said. “We are fortunate to have such a diverse team in place.”
Finkelstein has been advising commercial property owners and users for six years, most recently focusing on regional retail brokerage in Maryland, D.C. and Virginia. In addition to his professional experience, Finkelstein is active in the Baltimore community through his work with THE ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Maryland.
